I made Sounds’n’Stories initially as a self publishing venture, later bought out by Pearson Publishing. The program was packed with visuals including short story animations and 50 original songs (produced by John Laudon). My budget couldn’t possibly stretch to 50 music videos -though I wished it were possible- I took opportunities to make them whenever the chance arose. On a short trip to Chengdu I was introduced to a Videographer as keen as me to make content. We set up the shoot over a couple of days and through parental connections got a fun cast of active children to jump and roll around to the song. I returned to the mangrove in Hong Kong to cut.
