The way we ‘watch’ music is fascinating. “Thriller” scaled music videos are fewer these days and reserved for the big labels, but with so many independent makers coming through; the need to have your music ‘seen’ on social media has lead to a lyric video industry.

With a few hours to bash it out, I had a little pressure but lots of fun interpreting the emotional movement of the song with standard text presets in Final cut. With a little time to spare I went back to the rotating ladder text with ‘tonight’; duplicating and offsetting the block to animate the font. A work around to buying flashy plug ins but message delivered on time.
